Warsaw
Warsaw was never really one of the destinations I thought I would visit one day. Not that I was not interested in this city, but not having the ability to travel everywhere and as much as I want, I necessarily prioritized many other destinations before.
And yet, quite surprisingly, it was my professional life that landed me there, 4 times, between 2018 and 2021. I never had all my time available to shoot because unlike my other trips, I was not here on vacation. I was still able to take a little time here and there to visit the city, and as usual, to capture the atmosphere of it thanks to my camera.
Thus, I was for example able to take advantage of November 11’s celebration, and I enjoyed a lot the old town, whether it was during the day or in the evening. I found great street scenes there and people that I loved to photograph.
These photo sessions have also made me a lot of progress both technically and artistically and allowed me to refine my photography. I count some of the photos you will find below as some of my favorites. It remembers me that we never know when a decisive moment appears in front of us. If there is one thing I will take away from Warsaw, it is that however the situation, always having my camera with me is a pretty good idea.
“I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.”
